If you’ve ever had Coulrophobia, the fear of clowns, then meet BlahAwesome and Rhythm, two clowns who are looking to change the narrative that clowns are scary. I had the opportunity to meet both woman and watch them entertain families and kids during the Sixth Annual Aurora Day Backpack Giveaway. I got the opportunity to meet a great organization that wants to give back to the community. The Cigar Lordz held their first car show and got to meet & greet with the community, along with Smolders Cigar Lounge to raise awareness and support for the organization. I’m honored to highlight my good friend Challona Coleman, a multitalented musician who has quite a diverse and artistic style. I’ve known Challona for over 15 years and she’s always been a great friend and photo muse for me. She’s such a great talent that I hope takes over the musical world. K.W.E.E.N.WERK
I had the pleasure of interviewing and photographing Parker McMullen Bushman aka K.W.E.E.N.WERK, a social justice warrior and black environmentalist who promotes an inclusive and safe space for black people to enjoy the outdoors. We went hiking at Flatirons Vista trail outside of Louisville and completed a 5K hike. It was a great experience and great time learning about the work that Parker does.
