2017 brought new challenges and experiences for me as a photographer. This year I forced myself to step out of my comfort zone and photographed new genres and gained new skills. This was a great year for me artistically and I'm already looking forward to what 2018 will bring. These are the 20 best photos I took in '17.
Union Station in Downtown Denver has changed a lot throughout the last few years. I walked around looking at the new changes and capturing some of the new essence that Union Station provides to the Denver area.

I photographed my first Roller Derby event, The Slaughterhouse Girls vs The Cinderhellas. I had never seen nor knew much about Roller Derby. I got a brief overview of the sport from the refs and learned a lot about the sport. A lot of fast, high speed action. A great sport to watch and I'm glad to get the opportunity of photographing this awesome event!
