Denver Juneteenth is always such a fun and amazing time and 2023 was no difference. Many groups, dancers, organizations, fraternities & sororities came out to celebrate the historic holiday.

I’m honored to highlight my good friend Challona Coleman, a multitalented musician who has quite a diverse and artistic style. I’ve known Challona for over 15 years and she’s always been a great friend and photo muse for me. She’s such a great talent that I hope takes over the musical world. K.W.E.E.N.WERK
I had the pleasure of interviewing and photographing Parker McMullen Bushman aka K.W.E.E.N.WERK, a social justice warrior and black environmentalist who promotes an inclusive and safe space for black people to enjoy the outdoors. We went hiking at Flatirons Vista trail outside of Louisville and completed a 5K hike. It was a great experience and great time learning about the work that Parker does.
